What this website is — and is not

Everything on this website is general information about Canadian immigration, written to be accurate at the time of publication. It is not legal advice, and it is not advice about your specific situation. Immigration rules, processing times and program requirements change frequently — always confirm current requirements on the official IRCC website or with a licensed representative.

Reading this website, sending an enquiry, or receiving a free assessment does not create a consultant–client relationship. That relationship begins only when both sides sign a written retainer agreement, as required by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC).

No guarantees — by rule and by principle

No one can guarantee the outcome of an immigration application: decisions rest with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada and its officers. Nothing on this website is a promise of a visa, permit, nomination, or approval, and no statement here should be read as one.

Official sources

Government fees, forms and applications are always available directly from IRCC at canada.ca, and many people complete straightforward applications themselves. Our fees are for professional representation and preparation, and are always separate from government fees.

Accuracy and liability

We work to keep this website’s information current, but we make no warranty that every page reflects today’s rules. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ramsey Immigration Ltd is not liable for decisions made on the basis of this website’s general information alone.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario.
